My Mom made Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep for me back in the 1970's. I think it's stamped, but I'm really not sure. Still, it hung in my room for years ~ and now it's in our Guest Bathroom. I *love* it!

In the 1980's, my Mom made this Dear Daughter cross-stitch for me. In fact, she's the one who taught me how to cross-stitch. Now, we split up different forms of needlework. I've got cross-stitching, etc. and she's got smocking, etc.!

My Mother's mom, Frances Morris ~ or Mama Frances, as we called her ~ made this Love One Another candlewicking picture for me in the 1990's. Mom got it framed for me later. Mama Frances had started making baby quilts for all her grandchildren, but since I was the oldest, I was too "big" to have a quilt. So, this is my quilt! :)

Todd's cousin, Alane Matthews, made this lovely little Wedding sampler for us in 1997. It's hanging in our bedroom.

One of my roommate's mothers did this cross-stitch of Three Teddy Bears on a T-shirt for me back in the early 1990's. It never fit right, so finally in 1998, I cut it up and satin stitched it to a small piece of sample fabric. I framed it myself from a frame I found at Hobby Lobby. I think it turned out pretty good!

My Mom's older sister, Louise Morris, made this Wedding Sampler from JCA for our wedding. Of course, like the rest of us, Aunt Louise got it to us a bit late. :) Our wedding was in 1997, and Mom got this framed for us in 2000!
