Works In Progress

I was hoping to get my stocking done in time for Christmas 2005 ~ since I finished my husband's stocking in 2001 and finally put it together this year. (It was the first year we've spent just the two of us) Needless to say, it's on my list to finish first for 2006! I did BH&G Holiday Workshop for him, and I'm doing Stitcher's Studio for me.

This is my first silk thread try ~ over one on 40 count silk gauze no less! It is Lavender & Lace's Lady Claire. I really enjoy it, but I can only take it for so long! I'll probably get back to this after Christmas.

This is Rose Celebration from Mirabilia. It is done on 28 count Seamist Evenweave from The (old) Blended Needle in DMC. I haven't gotten too far on her - probably because she's for me!

This is probably about 30-40ish hours; I really don't keep track, so don't truthfully know. I am enjoying stitching her, though.

This is one of Stoney Creek's CATS class pieces from 2002 called Christmas Joy . It has a lovely winter scene in the O of Joy. I just scanned the part I'm working on, so you can't really see the completed Y or the pulled work I've already done down one side (I'll get another scan of that later) I have no idea how long this is - 60 or 70 hours maybe (with the part you can't see) Anyway, it's stitching up really nicely and also is the first time I've used Anchor.
