Completed 2004

Here are the items I've finished in the year 2004 - some are framed, some aren't; and actually, some aren't *quite* finished - they're just stitched! :) If you wish to see a bigger picture, just click on the thumbnail.

I made this little Nautical Noah for one of my Mom's Christmas presents this year. It's a Dimensions Wire Whimsy kit. Once I got home to Tennessee, I put this together ~ as well as one she had made for me!

I just love Lorri Birmingham's designs. They are just so gorgeous. This is her Hearts Mini Altoid Tin. It was my first foray into stitching for the Tiny Tins and my first experiment with gluing floss cording around the sides. Could do with a bit more experience there, though! :)

Lorri Birmingham's Tea for All Seasons is a lovely little bellpull. It actually took me about a year because I only worked on it when I had a few moments at work ~ which weren't many! I did find a few errors in it, but I looked at the picture as well as what looked best to me, and went from there.

The Victoria Sampler's learning series is such a fun & quick stitch! TVS2-7, Rosebuds, teaches the Fly Stitch. This was a quick stitch ~ and the rosebuds look so pretty!

TVS2-8, Buttercups, from The Victoria Sampler, teaches the Loop Stitch. I did a couple of the flowers at least twice, since I was doing them with a different stitch ~ but I got it right and it looks wonderful!

TVS2-9, Fucshias, from The Victoria Sampler, teaches the Stem Stitch. It took me awhile to figure this one out, but once I did, it was pretty easy. One more to go in the Ribbon Stitch series!

TVS2-10, Lilacs, from The Victoria Sampler, teaches the Japan Stitch. It was a little challenging, but after I figured it out (after many tries!), it was fun.
