	This was my first exposure to Silk Ribbon Embroidery. Bucilla's Silk Ribbon Embroidery Angel kit was pretty self-explanatory - which was good! Mom got it framed for me with a pink inner mat & a blue velvetly outer mats, as well as a dark wood frame. It set the angel off beautifully!
	Lavender & Lace's Angel of Mercy was completed in 1999 on 32 count French Blue Linen. My Mom & I fell in love with the story of this piece, which you can see on Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum's web site, www.tiag.com
	My mother-in-law, Jenny Boring, got married to John DeWitt on January 1st, 1999. I did this Hearts & Bows from Stitched Impressions by Plaid Enterprises, Inc. for them as a wall hanging. She got it framed with glass ~ which, I'm sure, fit better with her decor. It looks beautiful; however, it looks like the glass smashes the convexness of the raised heart.
